A Year of Thanks – Poem by SMC
Here I am once again. Who am I, you ask? I am father time coming around the bend. It has once again come to years end.
A time to end the old year and ring in the new one with our glasses tipped with a drink to the working men and women of the many working classes.
To those that are out there every day of the year serving the daily masses.
To them, I say, “Thanks for all that you do! A Happy New Year to you all with a great big heart felt thank you!”
During this holiday season, lest we not forget about those who cannot be with their families during this time of year. Those who suffer from mental illness in hospitals throughout West Virginia and around the world, are about to celebrate the holidays as well. So take time this year; reflect on you and your mental health. Mental illness can happen to anyone, anytime…so take care this next year.
