NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group Facilitator – Facilitate Adult Support Groups for people living with mental health conditions. MUST be a person living with a mental health condition (an official diagnosis is not required) who is in recovery & commit to attending 2-day training to learn the skills needed & facilitating a support group (90 minutes) twice a month for 6 months. [Belmont, Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, & Wetzel Counties]

NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator – Facilitate Family Support Groups for family members & loved ones of people living with mental health conditions. MUST be a family member or loved one of a person living with a mental health condition & commit to attending 2-day training to learn the skills needed & facilitating a support group (60 minutes) twice a month for 6 months. [Belmont, Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, & Wetzel Counties]

Outreach Event Coordinator – Manage a NAMI Greater Wheeling table at various events and health fairs. MUST commit to managing 3-4 tabling events throughout the year. [Belmont, Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, & Wetzel Counties]

NAMI Event Volunteer – Help with various duties & assignments at a NAMI Event. MUST commit to being involved with at least 1 event throughout the year. May involve multiple meetings/trainings prior to event. [Ohio County]

NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program Teacher – Teach a 12-session education program for family, partners, friends, and significant others of adults living with a mental health condition. The course is designed to help all family members understand & support their loved one living with mental illness, while maintaining their own well-being. The course includes information on illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and other mental health conditions. MUST be a family member or loved one of a person living with a mental health condition & commit to attending a 2 ½ day training to learn the skills needed & to teaching 2 full 12-week sessions per year. [Ohio & Marshall Counties]

NAMI Ending the Silence – Provide a 50-minute evidence-based presentation to middle and high school students regarding the signs and symptoms of mental illness, how to recognize the early warning signs and the importance of acknowledging those warning signs. MUST be a young adult age 18-35 living with a mental illness in recovery OR an adult who is either a family member or a person with a mental illness & commit to 1-day training or a 2-hour online training to learn the skills needed & provide 1-2 presentations a month for 6 months. [Belmont, Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, & Wetzel Counties]
